Welcome. I'm Sarah Waterhouse, a Sheffield based textile designer and printer, all fabrics are hand printed using water based inks and all designs are original.
Sarah Waterhouse Textiles (previously known as Plain Jane Textiles) first started back in 2003 when I started designing bags made with unbleached calico, I wanted to screen print my designs but I had no idea where to start. The next 5 years were spent designing and learning the art of screen printing until the business was officially launched in Dec 2007.
I love the quality of hand printed fabric and enjoy every minute of the printing process, it's this enjoyment that I hope to pass on to my customers with beautiful quality printed fabrics.
I'm also proud to say that I now print only on environmentally friendly fabrics such as hemp or organic cotton. I will soon be printing fabrics by the metre, please contact me for more information.
